If you are looking for your first appointment, three words come at you that sound much the same: gel polish, natural nail reinforcement, extensions. They mean three different things. And they decide what your appointment costs and how long you sit with us.
Gel polish
Gel polish is a long-lasting finish on your own nail. Nothing is built up and nothing is lengthened — the colour sits on the nail exactly as it is. That is the right way if your nails are stable to begin with and what you mainly want is colour that holds.
Natural nail reinforcement
Here we lay a thin coat of gel over your own nail. It stays the length it is, but becomes more resilient. This is the answer to soft nails that tear easily — with a French tip if you like.
Extensions
With extensions we build the nail beyond its natural length. How far is your call; what we think of it, we tell you beforehand. A French tip, colour or a pattern works at any length. In the gallery you can see work from the studio, sorted by style and colour.
What the price depends on
Our prices are in the table below and on the services page. They come from the same system we book with.
Every price is a “from”. What it costs for you depends on the work involved, the length and the nail technician. Before we start, we tell you the figure. Consultation, cuticle care and coffee are always included.
How long it lasts
With normal wear, gel polish holds for about three to four weeks without chipping. Reinforcement and extensions are refilled at the same interval, for a simple reason: your own nail keeps growing, the enhancement travels out with it, and the step at the nail bed becomes visible.
When you come back is up to you. The longer that step stands, the more work the refill is.
How long you sit with us
Every service states its duration. It is already planned into the booking: you pick a free time, everything else is taken care of.
